Turkey Meatball Sub

The substitution of beef for turkey in this meatball sub is so seamless and delicious, you're going to wonder why you didn't start doing it a while ago. With all the same toppings that make a sub great, you won't even notice the subtle difference in taste, which is a small sacrifice for the immense nutritional benefit.

Ingredients 
1 lb ground 100% turkey breast
1 egg
½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup green pepper
1/2 cup onions
1 cup red sauce
How to make it 

Combine the turkey breast, egg, and breadcrumbs.

Bake at 375˚ F until meatballs are golden brown.

Sautée the green pepper, onions, and red sauce in a pan.

Assemble on a whole wheat sub.
