Forget lions and tigers and bears (and wolves)—it’s dragons that are dominating Westeros.
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
In the season's fourth episode, “The Spoils of War,” Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) finally unleashed her dragons onto the Seven Kingdoms, torching the Lannister forces and leaving the fate of Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) unclear as his heavy armor sank him under the murky Blackwater Rush. (We have a feeling he’ll be back soon enough.)

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) got closer with Daenerys on Dragonstone, while Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) will now have to try to rebuild her forces after the fiery defeat.
The episode was filled with fire, explosions, and some of the most dramatic battle scenes of the series so far. The next episode, titled “Eastwatch,” likely will set up the battles to come for the rest of the season—namely the war with the White Walkers and their army of undead wights.
